I received my first black belt from GM Torok over 30 years ago. I now have several black belts in different martial arts including an 8th degree in Kwanmukan and a 6th degree in Kobudo. I still train with GM Torok, he's one of the best teachers I know. My only regrets is I wish his school was a little closer. Sigung Milt Kujawinski Cleveland, OH

I trained under Grandmaster Torok from white belt to 4th degree black belt. It was a long hard journey, but well worth the trip. Through out the years Grandmaster was an amazing teacher, a much needed mentor and a really great friend. The lessons learned in karate aren't left in the dojo, they are lived throughout your life.

I began my martial arts training with GrandMaster Torok in 1978. I feel very fortunate to have started and continued my martial arts career under the tutelage of such a high quality martial arts instructor. Grandmaster Torok has been a personal friend and a professional mentor over the 32+ years we have known each other. The skills he taught me led into a successful competition career in sport karate, as well as amateur kickboxing, along with being a school owner since 1984. I hope that his new community in TN will recognize and take advantage of the fact that they have one of the finest martial artists in their community. His programs will benefit you physically, mentally and emotionally - no matter what age you are!

I started my adventure with Kajukenbo in 2007 while working on my PhD degree at Northern Illinois University. At that time, I decided to join Grandmaster Torokâ??s Dojo just to get back in shape and learn something new. Soon enough, Kajukenbo became an essential part of my everyday life. I grew more and more each day from this experience. I do sometimes lament the fact that I waited so long to get involved, but believe with all my heart that this experience is one of the most uplifting, and fulfilling that I have ever known. Grandmaster Torok is an amazing teacher and mentor. I wish to say â??Thank Youâ? to him for having the vision, courage, strength, and patience to teach us all. Thank you for making a difference in my life. Joanna Sztuba-Solinska, IL

I studied with Grandmaster Torok for ten years in DeKalb, Illinois. I never doubted for a moment that I was training under someone who knew what they were doing and genuinely cared about his students. I can't imagine a better school to study at and I know he will be as good (if not better) in Tennessee!
